Have you noticed how doctors push the flu shot or nasal spray at every doctor visit whether it’s for you or your kids? Why would you have to deliberately inject thousands of dead viruses into your body to develop immunity? And more importantly, why would you spray it into your nose millimeters away from your brain? These were questions that I had and none of the doctors I asked had any solid answers for me.  They said that the CDC suggests a yearly flu shot to avoid a severe flu. This was something I was curious about and since I didn’t feel comfortable exposing my kids to something I knew very little about, I decided to do some research.

What is in the common flu shot?

According to doctor Tenpenny in “The Truth About The Flu Shot”, the common flu shot contains the following substances:

  • Egg proteins: Can include avian contaminant viruses.
  • Gelatin: Can cause allergic reactions and anaphylaxis are usually associated with sensitivity to egg or gelatin.
  • Polysorbate 80 (Tween80™): Can cause severe allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis. Also associated with infertility in female mice.
  • Formaldehyde: Known carcinogen.
  • Triton X100: A strong detergent.
  • Sucrose: Table sugar.
  • Resin: Known to cause allergic reactions.
  • Gentamycin: An antibiotic.
  • Thimerosal: Mercury is still in multi-dose flu shot vials.

Do Flu shots work?

In a review of more than 51 different studies involving more than 294,000 children it was found that there was “no evidence that injecting children 6-24 months of age with a flu shot was any more effective than placebo. In children over 2 years of age, it was only effective 33% of the time in preventing the flu.

Knowing that the common flu shot contains formaldehyde which is a known carcinogen, and thimerosal which contains mercury; also known to impair neurological and immune systems, would you give your kids a flu shot?

Furthermore, the common flu shot contains detergents, antibiotics, chemicals and allergens like polysorbate-80 that causes infertility and other ingredients deemed unsafe for human consumption.

The CDC suggests getting a seasonal flu vaccine every year and only lists some of the ingredients on their website. With all the ingredients listed in a common flu shot I am not willing to take that risk on my children’s lives. To me, the risk of getting a yearly flu shot that may eventually manifest as a lethal illness later in life far outweighs the risk of getting the flu. The human body is built to defend itself through the natural process of immunity. Do your own research and let me know what your thoughts are.
